A fun and lively class during which you’ll learn cocktail-making skills you’ll use for years to come.

During this fun and lively two-hour class, you’ll learn the tips and tricks of the professional cocktail maker or mixologist. All in the stunning and private York Distillery.

From the basics of shaking and stirring to the more advanced skills of favour balancing and beautiful presentation, this class is a fabulous activity for groups of friends to enjoy together. It’s entertaining, informative and practical.

What's Included

• Private 2-hour cocktail class in our exclusive distillery space – it’s all yours (no sharing with other groups)

• A welcome drink on arrival (choose from a classic G&T or a refreshing spritz)

• Make and enjoy two premium cocktails, guided by our expert mixologist

• All drinks use our award-winning York Gin as the base spirit – but other spirits are available too (we’ll ask for your preference at checkout)

• Tasty bar snacks provided, or upgrade to a Tiffin Box of Yorkshire Tapas for £20 per person

• A lovely personal touch: bring your Spotify playlist or photos for our screen to create a celebratory vibe

Cocktail Types You’ll Learn

Expect a mix of cocktail styles to build real skills:

• A shaken classic like a Martini or Espresso Martini

• A build-style drink like a Bramble or similar
  (We’ll guide you through techniques and presentation — and yes, you drink what you make!)

Pricing & Booking Info

• £210 for up to 6 people – you don’t need to bring 6 guests, that’s just the base price. Perfectly fine for 2, 3, or 4 guests if you want a smaller group.

• Want to bring more? Just add:
  £35 per extra guest (full cocktails)
  £24 per guest (non-alcohol/mocktail options)

In a relaxed and fun environment you’ll learn the techniques and tricks to make your own top-notch cocktails for years to come.
If you have particular cocktails you’d like to learn to make during the cocktail masterclass, please just let us know.

We’ll prepare the cocktail-making equipment and ingredients, and hints and tips to make the perfect cocktail.
We also have a range of cocktails that are particularly popular in our cocktail-making classes.

If you don’t have particular cocktails you’re interested in we will teach you to make three delicious cocktails that teach a range of skills and use a fabulous range of flavours.
