Join us for an unforgettable cocktail-making experience in York in the beautiful, private surroundings of York Distillery.
This fun and hands-on session is perfect for birthdays, York hen parties, work socials, or simply a memorable night out in York with friends.
A fun and lively class during which you’ll learn cocktail-making skills you can use at home.

During this fun and lively two-hour party, you’ll learn the tips and tricks of the cocktail maker and create and drink your own cocktails. All in the stunning and private York Distillery.

Including a shaken cocktail and 'build' cocktails, this activity is fabulous fun for groups of friends to enjoy together. It’s entertaining, informative and practical.

We ask for a £50 deposit to secure your chosen date, plus booking fees. (Fees are paid upfront. The remaining balance is payable later.)

What's Included

• Private 2-hour cocktail class in our exclusive distillery space – it’s all yours (no sharing with other groups)

• A welcome drink on arrival (choose from a classic G&T or a refreshing spritz)

• Make and enjoy two premium cocktails, guided by our expert mixologist

• All drinks use our award-winning York Gin as the base spirit – but other spirits are available too (we’ll ask for your preference at checkout)

• Tasty bar snacks included.

• A lovely personal touch: bring your Spotify playlist or photos for our screen to create a celebratory vibe

Cocktail Types You’ll Learn

Expect a mix of cocktail styles to build real skills:

• A shaken classic like a Martini or Espresso Martini

• A build-style drink like a Collins or similar
  (We’ll guide you through techniques and presentation — and yes, you drink what you make!)

Pricing & Booking Info

• Fridays & Saturdays - £360 for up to 9 people – you don’t need to bring 9 guests, that’s just the base price. Perfectly fine for 3,5,8 etc guests if you want a smaller group.

• Sunday - Thursday £240 for up to 6 people – you don’t need to bring 6 guests, that’s just the base price. Perfectly fine for 2, 3, or 4 etc guests if you want a smaller group.

• Want to bring more? Just add:
  £40 per extra guest (full cocktails)
  £35 per guest (non-alcohol/mocktail options)

• Payment: When booking you'll be asked for a small deposit to secure your booking with the balance due 2 weeks before the event, or full payment if the event is less than 2 weeks' away.
